iF Product Design Award
Germany

Established in 1953, the iF Design Award is organized annually by the iF Industrie Forum Design, one of the oldest design institutions in Germany. The iF International Design Forum selects the iF Design Award winners based on well-known evaluation principles of “independence, rigor and reliability”.

The award aims to raise public awareness of design, and the most widely-recognized of the awards, the iF Gold Award, is known as “the Oscar of product design” in the community.

Red Dot Design Award
Germany

Founded in 1955 by Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen, a renowned German design association, the Red Dot Design Award is aimed at those wishing to distinguish their business activities through design.

The Red Dot distinction has been widely recognized as a “seal of international creativity and design”. Winning the award means that the product has received the most authoritative stamp of “quality assurance” for its appearance and quality.

Good Design Award
Japan

The Good Design Award (G Mark) was established in 1957 by Japan’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry. The most authoritative and influential design award in Asia, it is honored as the “the eastern design world’s Oscar”.

Every year, the Good Design Award welcomes 3,000 submissions from over 1,000 participating companies. Winners are awarded the G Mark, a symbol representing high quality and ease-of-use.

International Design
Excellence Award
USA

International Design Excellence Awards are an industrial completion sponsored by BusinessWeek and reviewed by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). With a history of 40 years only, it is considered equally influential as the iF Award.

The award’s jury evaluates thousands of submissions, using a fair and strict appraisal system covering multiple dimensions, including innovativeness, user experience, eco-friendliness, and visual aesthetics.
